About Us

Located in historic Chelsea on New York's west side, Worthwild is owners Réamonn Byrne and Jeff Conway's debut restaurant inspired by twenty years of working and eating in New York's great neighborhood spots.  The cozy and inviting space— with the name a play on the word worthwhile and the owners love of the outdoors- has a boisterous bar room in the front and a more intimate dining room in the back. Chef Clay James and Sous Frank Doucleff offer a seasonal menu of rustic yet refined dishes, working with NY State farmers and artisans, complemented by Jeff's focused but playful beverage program. In the end it all comes together to make Worthwild an unforgettable experience to be enjoyed again and again.
